Giving BackThe Greatest Gift of All

Tara Nursing Home Christmas Party Photo During the month of December, residents from both Hope House and Peeler Home, their children, and staff members, visited Tara Nursing Home for the elderly and invalid in Thunderbolt, Georgia for a day of sharing and gift giving. In an effort to show their gratitude to the community as a whole, the mothers and children reached out to support other missions in need of community support and volunteer involvement. The mothers pitched in to purchase in to purchase fruit and made fruit baskets for the residents at Tara Nursing Home. The mothers, children, and staff sang Christmas carols and spent time talking with the residents. The children were especially a treat for the residents. The experience gained by the residents of our organization served as a lesson is knowing that no where we all are in our lives; there is great value in recognizing the necessity in reaching out to others. The time spent at Tara Nursing Home will forever remain in our hearts that giving back is truly The Greatest Gift of All.
